By default at site setup, Pantheon cacheing is default set to 7 days for the max-age value with the plugins Pantheon Native PHP Sessions and Pantheon Advanced Page Cache plugins. A higher max-age typically improves site performance.

From the WP-Admin, you can clear your site cache from Settings -> Pantheon Page Cache and click Clear Cache.
