Managing Users

You can add, edit, remove users for your site by navigating to WP Admin > Users. The role you select is dependent on the site administrator and the roles the user will need to fulfill.

Shibboleth

Users will need to be registered with their USC Net ID as their username in order to access the site admin.

When creating a new User, make sure you enter the following information:

  1. Username: this is your USC Net ID
  2. Email: this is your USC email address
  3. First Name: First Name
  4. Last Name: Last Name
  5. Website: (optional)
  6. Password: leave blank
  7. Send User Notification: ensure this box is checked
  8. Role: Select the appropriate role
